Job Summary We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Key Account Manager to grow and develop our Principals' business within the FMCG sector in the KwaZulu-Natal region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships within the Modern Trade and Buying Groups, securing new vendor listings, growing product ranges, increasing store coverage, and strengthening long-term customer partnerships. Key Responsibilities o Serve as the primary point of contact for Key Account customers in the KZN region o Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing Key Account customers o Establish new relationships with regional and national buying offices o Secure new vendor listings across FMCG channels o Expand product ranging and increase store footprint within existing customer base o Implement and manage annual price increases o Liaise with regional distribution centres (DCs), replenishment teams, and Channel Regional and Divisional Managers o Conduct monthly stock-on-hand (SOH) reviews with logistics partners o Perform weekly trade visits to ensure product standards and execution are maintained o Support sales and merchandising partners to resolve store-level issues when required Requirements: o Proven existing relationships within Modern Trade (Pick n Pay, SPAR, Shoprite, Checkers, Massmart, Dis-Chem, Clicks) o Minimum of 3 years' relevant FMCG sales or key account management experience o Experience in compiling, reviewing, and actioning Site Cover.
