Role Overview This is a junior-level technical role focused on supporting equipment installations, maintenance, and repairs both on-site and at client premises. The role involves a combination of electrical work, basic plumbing, stock management, and travel. You'll also take ownership of the storeroom and occasionally assist with planning and supervision of maintenance projects.
Key Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance on plant equipment and machinery
• Install and maintain equipment at client sites (travel and sleep-outs required)
• Perform electrical maintenance on industrial dishwashers and chemical pumps
• Support maintenance planning and basic supervision of tasks
• Take responsibility for stock control and storeroom upkeep
• Attend technical and safety training as required

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' hands-on maintenance/technical experience
• Technical College qualification preferred
• Electrical experience essential; plumbing knowledge is a bonus
• Driver's licence and own transport to work (non-negotiable)
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans (spoken and written)
• Must be a self-starter, non-smoker, non-drinker, and team-oriented
• Strong integrity and accountability
