Role Overview

This is a junior-level technical role focused on supporting equipment installations, maintenance, and repairs both on-site and at client premises. The role involves a combination of electrical work, basic plumbing, stock management, and travel. You'll also take ownership of the storeroom and occasionally assist with planning and supervision of maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct maintenance on plant equipment and machinery Install and maintain equipment at client sites (travel and sleep-outs required) Perform electrical maintenance on industrial dishwashers and chemical pumps Support maintenance planning and basic supervision of tasks Take responsibility for stock control and storeroom upkeep Attend technical and safety training as required

Requirements

Minimum 3 years' hands-on maintenance/technical experience Technical College qualification preferred Electrical experience essential; plumbing knowledge is a bonus Driver's licence and own transport to work (non-negotiable) Fluent in English and Afrikaans (spoken and written) Must be a self-starter, non-smoker, non-drinker, and team-oriented Strong integrity and accountability
