Junior/assistant Draftsman
Job Description
JUNIOR/ASSISTANT DRAFTSMAN - EAST LONDON - Our client in the Fire Protection Industry is looking to appoint a detail-orientated and motivated Junior/Assistant Draftsperson with strong proficiency in CAD software. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings, plans, and layouts, while ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
Requirements:
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic understanding of drafting standards and construction principles.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Relevant diploma, certificate, or studies in Drafting, Design, or related field (preferred).
Previous internship or 0-2 years drafting experience advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and update technical drawings and layouts using CAD software.
Assist senior designers/engineers with drafting and design tasks.
Interpret design briefs, sketches, and specifications into accurate CAD drawings.
Ensure drawings adhere to industry standards, project requirements, and quality guidelines.
Maintain organized drawing files and documentation.
Collaborate with team members to support project deadlines.
Salary - Market related
