Role Overview

As a Junior Web Developer at Fuzz Digital, you will assist in

building, maintaining, and optimizing websites

on platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, and occasionally Magento. You'll collaborate with senior developers, designers, and the operations team to deliver high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly websites. This role is perfect for someone who has a solid foundation in web development and wants to sharpen their skills with real-world projects.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in

building and customizing websites

using WordPress (Elementor, WooCommerce, ACF) and Shopify (EComposer, Liquid). Support website

maintenance and updates

, including plugin/theme updates, bug fixes, and performance improvements. Help with

frontend styling (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

to match design requirements. Contribute to

UI/UX enhancements

and ensure sites are mobile-responsive. Implement

SEO best practices

when uploading products and content. Assist in

integrating third-party tools

such as payment gateways, shipping plugins, and APIs. Test and troubleshoot issues across different browsers and devices. Document work and update project management tools (e.g., ClickUp).

Requirements

Must-Have:

1-2 years of experience in web development (agency or freelance experience welcome). Proficiency in

HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP basics

. Familiarity with

WordPress (Elementor, WooCommerce)

and Shopify. Understanding of

responsive design and cross-browser compatibility

. Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively and take guidance from senior developers.

Nice-to-Have:

Knowledge of

Shopify Liquid, React, or Angular

. Experience with

MySQL databases

and cPanel/hosting environments. Interest in

SEO, performance optimization, or paid media integration
