A well-established vibrant restaurant in Umhlanga (Durban) dedicated to delivering a fine dining experience, is currently seeking to appoint a talented and passionate Junior Sous Chef (Cold Section).
Essential Requirements: * Degree/Diploma in Culinary Arts.
- Must have a minimum of 4 years experience in a Fine Dining Establishment.
- Must have at least One year of experience in a Junior Sous or Sous Chef role.
- Excellent control of food cost, wastage, and kitchen preparation.
- Own vehicle or reliable transport.
- Able to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays with a long cycle of consecutive workdays.
- Knowledge and understanding of stock procedures and control.
- Knowledge of product and supply.
- Great attention to detail and creativity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
