A well-established vibrant restaurant in Umhlanga (Durban) dedicated to delivering a fine dining experience, is currently seeking to appoint a talented and passionate Junior Sous Chef (Cold Section).

Essential Requirements: * Degree/Diploma in Culinary Arts.

  • Must have a minimum of 4 years experience in a Fine Dining Establishment.
  • Must have at least One year of experience in a Junior Sous or Sous Chef role.
  • Excellent control of food cost, wastage, and kitchen preparation.
  • Own vehicle or reliable transport.
  • Able to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays with a long cycle of consecutive workdays.
Skills and Competencies: * Knowledge of food preparation and Kitchen hygiene.
  • Knowledge and understanding of stock procedures and control.
  • Knowledge of product and supply.
  • Great attention to detail and creativity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
