Job Summary
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Software Developer (Front/Backend) to join their team.
As Junior Software Developer, you'll be responsible for the maintenance and ongoing development of our existing websites and applications.
Location: Port Elizabeth/Gqeberha
Job type: Hybrid
Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining existing portfolio of websites and applications.
• Ensuring apps are kept up-to-date and proactively fixing any bugs that are reported.
• Maintaining company coding standards and guaranteeing a high level of quality in all our products.
• Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues,
• Solve complex technical challenges.

Minimum Requirements:

• Javascript: Experience in React, TypeScript and/or Angular.
• HTML & CSS: Strong foundation in frontend markup and styling.
• Familiar with NestJS (Javascript) and Laravel (PHP).
• API Integration: Confident with REST APIs, handling states and errors.
• Git & GitHub Workflow: Feature branches, PRs, and code reviews.
• Agile Workflow: Familiar with task management, sprints, and standups.
• Testing: Familiar with Postman, Jest, React Testing Library and/or PHP Unit Testing.
• Docker: Knowledge of containers and deployment.

• Experience with Unity Game Development.
• Design & Workflow: Figma, JIRA, Agile
• CI/CD Awareness: Basic knowledge of GitHub Actions workflows.
• Must reside in Port Elizabeth/Gqeberha
