Tessa's Bakery is looking for a

creative, driven, and highly organised Social Media & Marketing Assistant

to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for content creation, marketing strategy, and working in a vibrant environment filled with beautiful cakes and sweet treats, we'd love to hear from you!

What You'll Be Doing:

Assist the Marketing Manager in developing and executing creative marketing strategies Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across all our social media platforms Capture photo and video content of cakes, desserts, and behind-the-scenes moments Monitor social media trends, competitors, and industry movements to keep us ahead Coordinate and execute influencer outreach and collaboration campaigns Collaborate with our graphic designer, cake decorators, and retail team to gather compelling content Organise and participate in campaign debriefs, marketing meetings, and post-campaign evaluations Help plan and coordinate marketing activities for other brands within our group Coordinate flyer drops and other on-the-ground activations Maintain a well-organised content calendar and support admin requirements of the marketing department

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in social media, content creation, or marketing Strong photography and videography skills (basic editing is a bonus) Excellent communication and copywriting skills Experience using social media scheduling and analytics tools Confident in planning content and managing tight deadlines Strong administrative and organisational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) is a plus
