Job Description


MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To manage the production environment with the focus on people leadership, maximizing productivity and revenue generation, with the specialism in the following areas:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify development areas of each team member and deliver effective training programmes, coaching and content to aid performance of the team.
  • Minimise or prevent negative staff attrition to improve staff retention through wellness and engagement initiatives.
  • Reporting xe2x80x93 provide weekly/daily reporting on all criteria required to be measured to key stakeholders.
  • Developing the team through motivation, counselling, and product knowledge education
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts.
  • Handling and resolving customer complaints.
  • Devise strategies and sales techniques that positively impacts performance.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other departments of the business to ensure success of the sales team that has variable dependencies.
  • Establish and communicate KPIs to all stakeholders monthly, to achieve business objectives.
  • Analyse people and data trends on an on-going basis to address key points within the business units, by implementing resolutions.
  • Direct line manager duties encompass staff members conduct modification through the guidelines of the various internal policies and procedures to ensure appropriate discipline is maintained and corrected if required.
  • Create a high-performance culture through focused incentives, supported with celebration and regular communication.
  • Build positive and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Set KPIs in accordance with contractual & client expectations.
  • Create a culture of continuous improvement to drive effectiveness and efficiencies.
  • Manage campaign budget by monitoring staff headcount, incentive spend, data usage, etc.
  • Constantly review current production data and take appropriate action.
  • Utilise info and reports to drive performance, identify improvements and track trends over time.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Matric
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience managing a team of sales agents.
  • All experience must be in the telecommunications sector.
  • Experience with closing medium to large size business deals
  • Experience with negotiating deals at exec level in the client's environment

Remuneration: Market related

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (6 months)
