Junior Sales Agent
Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious junior sales agent to join our team in the retail industry. As a junior sales agent, you will play a critical role in driving sales and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. You will have the opportunity to learn and develop your sales skills, while working in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers in finding the right products that meet their needs, providing information about current promotions and discounts, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will also be responsible for maintaining product knowledge, monitoring sales trends, and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities
Assist customers in finding and selecting products that meet their needs
Provide product information, promotions, and discounts to customers
Upsell and cross-sell products to maximise sales opportunities
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the sales floor
Monitor and replenish inventory as needed
Achieve and exceed individual and team sales target
Required
NQF 4 equivalent, matric certificate or higher
Previous experience in retail or sales is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service orientation
Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
Candidate must be eligible to work in South Africa
