Responsibilities: As a Junior Safari Guide, you will be responsible for providing informative and engaging safari experiences for our clients guests. Your key responsibilities include:

• Guiding: Conducting safari activities and nature walks, sharing your knowledge about the local flora and fauna.
• Guest Interaction: Interacting with guests, answering questions, and ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience.
• Safety: Prioritizing the safety and well-being of guests during all safari activities.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conducting routine checks and reporting any issues with safari vehicles.
• Team Collaboration: Working closely with other guides and lodge staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Environmental Stewardship: Promoting conservation awareness and sustainable tourism practices.

Qualifications:

• FGASA Qualifications: Must hold a minimum FGASA Level 1 qualification.
• Passion for Wildlife: Genuine interest in and passion for the natural environment and wildlife.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact positively with guests and colleagues, with a humble and approachable demeanor.
• Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to a variety of tasks and responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
• Safety Conscious: Demonstrated commitment to the safety and well-being of guests.

Remuneration: The salary for this position is between R7,500 and R9,000 per month, inclusive of live-in accommodation and meals.
