Job Summary As a Junior Retail Buyer, you will support the purchasing strategy by focusing on the selection and procurement of confectionery and beverage products. You'll assist in identifying customer preferences, tracking market trends, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring optimal stock levels to meet demand. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in retail buying and a keen interest in the FMCG sector. Key Responsibilities o Assist in selecting and purchasing confectionery and beverage products aligned with customer needs and store goals o Monitor market trends and consumer preferences to guide buying decisions o Maintain supplier relationships and support negotiations on pricing and delivery o Track inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure product availability o Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support promotions and product visibility o Prepare basic reports on sales performance and stock movement o Stay informed about new product launches and seasonal trends in the confectionery and beverage categories Requirements o Minimum: High school diploma with coursework in merchandising, marketing, or business o Preferred: Diploma or degree in retail, supply chain, or business administration o 2-3 years of experience in retail buying or merchandising, preferably in FMCG o Specialization or strong interest in confectionery and beverages o Strong analytical and communication skills o Proficiency in MS Office
