Hire Resolve's client, a well-established player in the South African construction industry known for delivering high-quality infrastructure and building projects, is currently seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Cape Town.This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual looking to grow their experience in cost control, procurement, and contract administration while working on high-value projects in a dynamic and supportive environment.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and submit accurate cost estimates, budgets, and valuations.Monitor project costs and ensure alignment with budgets and contract specifications.Assist in managing contractual documentation and progress claims.Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to track progress and resolve issues.Support senior quantity surveyors and project managers in cost planning and control.Utilize CCS Candy software for measurement, billing, and reporting.Conduct site visits and assessments for progress and compliance checks.RequirementsNational Diploma or BSc in Quantity Surveying or a related field.1-3 years of experience in a quantity surveying role, ideally in the construction industry.Experience using CCS Candy software is essential.Exposure to medium to large construction companies and high-value projects will be highly advantageous.Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.Benefits
