We are seeking a

hands-on, experienced Quality Controller

to join our production team in the

plastic packaging industry

.

This position reports to the Quality Manager and focuses on ensuring product quality in line with our integrated standards and procedures, specifically within

extrusion blow moulding and other plastic moulding processes

.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out quality checks according to the control plan for each product using lab instruments (scales, calipers, thickness gauges, top-load testers, torque meters, etc.). Assist in investigating quality problems and identifying solutions for non-conformities. Accurately record quality measurements on production sheets and immediately flag any deviations. Inspect incoming raw materials against specifications and verify documentation. Participate in sorting defective bottles and deciding on batch acceptance or rejection. Assist in training production staff on quality standards and correct testing procedures. Calibrate production and lab instruments as required. Conduct quality checks after technical interventions and during new product trials. Monitor hygiene and quality compliance on the production floor. Take part in internal and external quality audits. Support the Quality Manager with maintaining and archiving quality records.

Minimum Requirements

Essential:

Previous quality control experience in a

plastic manufacturing environment

(EBM, SBM, or IM). Proven ability to use measuring instruments and follow product control plans. Understanding of ISO quality systems and basic Health & Safety practices. Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) is an advantage. Basic English communication skills (written and verbal).

Education & Experience

Relevant technical certificate or equivalent experience. Minimum

3 years

in

quality control within plastic packaging manufacturing

FMCG experience preferred

This is a

shop-floor based role

in a high-volume production environment. We are looking for

practical, hands-on quality controllers with plastic moulding experience

-- this is

not a senior or corporate quality management position

.
