We are seeking a Junior Project Manager to support supply chain-related projects within a large-scale transformation environment. The successful candidate will assist in planning, coordinating, and delivering projects across warehousing, distribution, and supply chain operations, working closely with senior project managers and cross-functional teams. Contract role, hybrid 4 days in office and 1 day working from homr.
This role is ideal for a developing project manager looking to gain exposure within a complex retail and SAP-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of supply chain projects
Assist with project schedules, milestones, and dependency tracking
Coordinate project activities across warehousing, logistics, and supply chain teams
Prepare project documentation, reports, and status updates
Track risks, issues, and actions, escalating where required
Support UAT coordination, cutover activities, and deployment planning
Facilitate meetings, workshops, and project communications
Work closely with vendors, internal stakeholders, and third-party partners
Ensure project governance, documentation, and compliance standards are followed
Key Skills & Competencies
Basic understanding of Project Management principles
Exposure to Supply Chain, Warehousing, Logistics, or Retail operations
Strong organisational and coordination skills
Good communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience with tools such as Jira, MS Project, or similar is advantageous
Required Experience & Qualifications
1-3 years' experience in a Project Coordinator / Junior Project Manager role
Exposure to supply chain or retail environments is essential
Experience supporting SAP or ERP-related projects will be advantageous
Relevant qualification in Project Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or IT
Project Management certification (Prince2 Foundation, CAPM, or similar) is beneficial
