Job Description
RPO's client is actively seeking a Junior Production Planner to join their team in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.
This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate who is eager to kickstart their career in supply chain and production planning. The role offers hands-on exposure in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, critical thinking, and a proactive mindset are key. This is a full-time, onsite position.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and coordinating production schedules to meet demand.
- Support the production team with data analysis, reporting, and workflow updates.
- Identify and troubleshoot any potential delays or inefficiencies in the planning process.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless execution and delivery.
- Continuously learn and grow within the planning function and take initiative in problem-solving.
- BCom in Supply Chain or BBA graduates
- No formal work experience required, but MS Excel skills will be advantageous.
- Must have played competitive team sport in high school.
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
- Naturally curious and eager to learn.
- Assertive and confident in voicing opinions.
- Tenacious and resilient under pressure.
- Street-smart and practical.
- Strong team player with a proactive, can-do attitude.
