Junior Production Manager

Job Description
Acht Farming is an established producer of citrus and greenhouse crops in the Gamtoos Valley.
We are seeking a dynamic Junior Production Manager to plan, implement, and monitor production programs. You will work alongside an experienced senior manager and grow in technical management and strategic planning.
- Tertiary qualification in Agriculture (advantageous)
- Strong computer skills, especially in Excel and digital monitoring systems
- Good interpersonal relationships and leadership ability
- Adaptable, organized, and passionate about sustainable production
- Monitor cultivar trials and planting activities
- Plan and monitor pest control, fertilization, and planting programs
- Manage technical staff and production operations
- Ensure compliance with standards such as Global GAP, Farming for the Future, DAFF, and Siza Environmental
- Develop and implement standard procedures and training for production practices
- Procure and manage pest control and fertilization expertise
