Junior Process Engineer

Job Description
Job Summary The main objective of the Junior Process Engineer is to assist in creating high-quality and cost-effective process solutions through process modelling, site inspections and testing, turn-key projects and research and development.
:
- Emissions Testing for Engineering Design and Performance Testing purposes.
- Preparation of mass and energy balances.
- Preparation of equipment data sheets (specification of process equipment and instrumentation).
- Preparation of PFDs and P&IDs.
- Preparation of process design documentation, including control philosophies and design reports.
- Liaising with suppliers and clients.
- Working with other engineering disciplines throughout the design and implementation phase.
- Complex process modelling and design calculations.
- Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and tenders.
- Investigation of (site testing and inspections) and reporting on clientxe2x80x99s process problems.
- Determination of the scope of work.
- Commissioning and testing of new installations.
- Problem-solving on new/old installations.
- Continuous monitoring of the performance of a plant over a one-year guarantee period (with an interval of 3 months) and reporting on findings.
- Laboratory and pilot-scale work to validate process design parameters.
- Analytical ability and expertise in understanding complex issues.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
