Job description My Client is hiring an Export Officer. You will report directly to the Export Manager. The Export Officer plays a pivotal role to ensure the traceability and documentary compliance check for each organic consignment being sold or exported, in particular to the EU and USA. Your tasks You will be responsible to carry out the following duties:
Checking the completeness and eligibility of Transaction Certificate (TC) and Certificate of Inspection (COI) applications received from clients
Cross-checking documents to validate traceability and accuracy
Assessing the compliance based on scheme (EU and NOP) requirements
Issue and send the approved TC/COI to the clients within a strict 3-day deadline
Update internal records on all platforms
Working proactively, along with other departments, ensuring clients and internal staff understand the process by means of guidelines and training.
Profile
Tertiary degree or diploma in Logistics, Education, or other relevant field
Relevant job experience will be advantageous but is not a requirement
High level of computer literacy - Confident MS Office user
Excellent English and Afrikaans spoken and written competency with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Performs well under high-pressure situations
