Grade 12 (Matric) with Diploma N6/Ndip in Mechanical Engineering
5 years in Industrial Maintenance Environment
Knowledge of lifting machine regulations, pressure equipment regulations.
Equipment maintenance strategies.
Hands on experience in canned motor pumps, forced induction cooling systems towers, compressors, lifting equipment (hoists), centrifugal pumps, rotary feeders and agitators.
Duties & Responsibilities
Plan and drive execution of day-to-day maintenance activities (e.g. breakdown, repairs).
Plan and drive execution of shutdown/outages/turnarounds.
Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are implemented in a timely and quality-focused manner.
Ensure repairs and modifications adhere to OEM and design standards, as well as meet statutory requirements.
Ensure availability of material, spares, and resources.
Develop/update procedures for maintenance activities (e.g., refurbishing a pump, repairing cranes) and train Do-maintenance team accordingly.
Must be computer literate and have knowledge of a Maintenance Management information system (SAP or similar).
Work within an empowered maintenance team
* Drive small maintenance projects.
