SUMMARY : A pipeline specialist services company based in Germiston is seeking for a recent Engineering graduate to join their team as a Junior Engineer. The role entails providing technical assistance to the Project Engineering team in execution of various multi-disciplinary construction/maintenance/condition assessment projects. ROLE : JUNIOR ENGINEER AVAILABILITY : IMMEDIATE QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Min. B. Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Experience REQUIRED: 0 - 3 YEARS DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Taking instructions from the Project Engineer Assist The Engineers in Project administration to ensure that activities and tasks are executed within specified time, cost and quality constraints. Plan optimal allocation and co-ordination of resources to ensure the success of the project and maximize the business benefit. Perform detailed Field Condition Assessment of Client's Assets and report on the condition and remedial actions. Use all the collected data from all surveys and all assessments to perform an Engineering evaluation of the assets, using ASME, ASTM, API, BS standard or Codes. Plan, schedule and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools (MS Projects) Drafting of Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Engineering Drawings Drafting of technical design, condition assessment and project progress reports Drafting of Tender Technical returnables e.g. Method Statements, Quality Control Plans Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans Periodic site management as and when required Ensure integrated project risk management is effectively done. Manage SHERQ requirements on projects
