Job Summary
Responsibilities / Duties
- Produce accurate mechanical drawings and CAD models.
- Work with engineering teams to develop technical and manufacturing drawings.
- Assist in updating and revising existing drawings as required.
- Ensure compliance with drawing standards and tolerances.
- Collaborate with production and design teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy.
- Maintain organised drawing files and project documentation.
- 4-5 years' experience in mechanical drafting/CAD work.
- Strong background in technical/mechanical drawing (formal training or technical drawing in school advantageous).
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (preferred) or Autodesk software.
- Sober habits
- Residing in or near East Rand (Boksburg, Kempton Park, Benoni, Germiston).
- Excellent mechanical drawing and interpretation skills.
- Attention to detail with strong accuracy in drafting.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new CAD software if required.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
