Job Description


Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to fulfil the need of marketing activities where content is required, specifically solutions that have integrated software.

Some of the Daily Responsibilities are as follows:
- Content creation and management: Writing, editing and publishing content for the company's website, blog, and social media channels
- Social media marketing: Managing the company's social media accounts, creating and scheduling posts, and monitoring engagement and follower growth
- Email marketing: Creating and sending email campaigns, managing email lists, and analysing campaign performance
- Basic search engine optimisation (SEO): Researching keywords, optimising content, and tracking website traffic from organic search
- Basic Google Analytics: Analysing website traffic and engagement data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
- Basic marketing automation: Setting up and managing automated email campaigns, lead nurturing and lead scoring
- Basic project management: Assisting with the coordination and execution of digital marketing projects
Basic web design and development: Assisting with website updates and maintenance, making sure website is responsive and accessible
- Basic branding and design principles: Assisting with the creation and production of marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, and other promotional items
- Basic understanding of marketing analytics and metrics: Assisting with data analysis and interpretation
- Basic A/B testing: Assisting with the setup, execution, and analysis of A/B tests
- Provide administrative support such as scheduling meeting, booking conference rooms and preparing documents
- Basic understanding of consumer behavior: Assisting with the research and analysis of consumer data to inform marketing strategies
- Identifying business opportunities with current and prospective customers
- Building and maintaining relationships with customers by providing information, support and guidance
- Analysing opportunities by researching the industry market trends, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales
- Utilise all available resources to reach out to prospects and attempt to turn those prospects into customers
- Attend industry trade shows to accumulate new leads and make productive contact with existing clients
- Prepare and maintain customer use case records
- Update client information in the company contact database
- Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth.
- Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
- Facilitating internal and external meetings
- Recording minutes, action items and following up on tasks for clients
- Creating Presentations
- Consulting on current products solutions

Mandatory Qualifications/Requirements:
- Grade 12 Matric (Essential)
- Diploma / Degree Marketing (Essential)
- Account Management (Desirable)
- Minimum of one to two years experience in a sales / marketing role
- Content creation for social media sites and customer emailing campaigns
