A leading fresh produce exporter committed to innovation and operational excellence has a graduate internship role available as Junior Logistics Coordinator. This internship offers hands-on experience in coordinating international shipments, managing export documentation, and ensuring timely delivery of fresh produce to global markets.
Purpose of the role:
To support export operations by planning shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring smooth communication between suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and coordinating international shipments
• Communicate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and packhouse teams
• Track shipments, update delivery schedules, and maintain accurate records
• Help resolve transport or delivery issues promptly
• Coordinate juice orders between packhouse and logistics teams

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic understanding of logistics or supply chain processes
• SA BEE Citizen
• Under 30 years of age

Career Path:
After completing the 12-month contract, you'll have a strong foundation in shipping coordination and export operations. Successful performance may lead to a permanent Logistics Coordinator role, with a long-term pathway to Logistics Manager within 2-5 years.
