We're looking for a sharp, reliable freelance outreach specialist to help us execute this.

About the Role

We're seeking a

Junior Link Building & Outreach Specialist

to join our marketing team on a short-term freelance basis. You'll be responsible for finding and contacting high-authority websites (DR 40+), with the goal of earning editorial links through PR-style outreach and guest content contributions. This is an

execution-focused

role; you'll build the contact list, write outreach emails, manage follow-ups, and log successful links.

Key Responsibilities

Research and build a list of outreach targets (blogs, journalists, digital publications) aligned with our travel themes (hidden gems, unscripted local stories, family travel) Draft, test, and refine outreach email templates (guest posts, PR, listicles) Conduct cold outreach using

BuzzStream

(we'll provide access and strategy) Manage responses and coordinate link placements or guest submissions Track progress using

Airtable

, and report weekly on links won Ensure all backlinks are from reputable domains (DR 40+) and follow white-hat SEO practices

What We're Looking For

1-2 years experience in

SEO outreach, link building, digital PR

Strong

written English

- can write compelling subject lines and email copy Hands-on experience with

BuzzStream

, or similar outreach platforms Ability to research and qualify sites quickly and reliably Comfortable building contact lists Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple outreach threads A self-starter - proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently Bonus if you've worked with
