System Support: xe2x80xa2 Configuring and setting up new computer equipment xe2x80x93 install and distribute hardware and software xe2x80xa2 Diagnosing and providing end-user support for any hardware (i.e. Printers, desktops, laptops, etc.) and software faults within the computer and network systems xe2x80xa2 Work within the parameters of the Groupxe2x80x99s predefined Hardware/Software standards xe2x80xa2 Escalate unresolved or complex incidents to the appropriate teams xe2x80xa2 Ticket and SLA management on the relevant ITSM (IT Service Management) tool xe2x80xa2 Troubleshoot to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner xe2x80xa2 Provide effective feedback to stakeholders - both written and verbal communication. xe2x80xa2 Continuously look at improving service delivery through proactive monitoring and alerting xe2x80xa2 Demonstrate the capacity to put people at ease and build sound relationships based on mutual trust and openness. IT Security: xe2x80xa2 Support the IT Security controls, standards and best practice as defined by Group IT xe2x80xa2 Provide education to users to bring about an understanding of IT security risks xe2x80xa2 Support IT facilities (access control and environmental conditions) Asset control: xe2x80xa2 Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets by ensuring the correct process is followed by users on the movement of assets when replacing or troubleshooting equipment Knowledge and skills requirements xe2x80xa2 Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 software support xe2x80xa2 Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, DHCP) xe2x80xa2 Basic knowledge of AD and group policies xe2x80xa2 Basic understanding of security protocols and best practices xe2x80xa2 Experience working with different operating systems including Windows and Mac OS will be very advantageous xe2x80xa2 Troubleshooting and hardware setup skills xe2x80xa2 Time management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution. xe2x80xa2 Individual must be energetic and highly motivated xe2x80xa2 Good interpersonal and communication skills xe2x80xa2 Self-motivated, self-starter and a team player xe2x80xa2 Good problem-solving skills xe2x80xa2 Basic Knowledge
1. Education and Experience xe2x80xa2 IT Diploma/Degree or related qualification xe2x80xa2 A+ and N+ certified will be highly beneficial xe2x80xa2 1-3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in an IT support role 2. Technical / Computer skills xe2x80xa2 Computer literacy xe2x80x93 Microsoft Suite of Products xe2x80xa2 Windows 10, Windows 11 (beneficial), Mac OS 3. Working Conditions xe2x80xa2 Required to be on standby as per prior arrangement xe2x80xa2 May be required to work outside of normal working hours xe2x80xa2 Valid driverxe2x80x99s license and own vehicle essential xe2x80xa2 Office position, remote work not possible
