About the Role

Host Agents is seeking a

creative and detail-driven Junior Interior Stylist

to help bring life, style, and functionality to our short-term rental properties. In this role, you'll act as both

property stylist and inventory controller

, transforming spaces into exceptional guest experiences. From auditing and furnishing properties to coordinating installations and styling for photoshoots, you'll play a key role in ensuring each property shines in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities

Develop design concepts and floor plans for new and existing listings Source and select furniture, decor, and finishes that elevate each space Manage styling projects end-to-end, ensuring budgets and timelines are met Conduct property audits to maintain high quality and design standards Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and photographers Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent brand presentation Enhance the guest experience through thoughtful, functional design

Requirements

Diploma in Interior Design or related field (certification an advantage) Minimum 1 year of interior design or property styling experience (hospitality or short-term rental experience beneficial)*
Strong grasp of design principles, colour theory, and space planning Proficiency in design software (e.g. SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar) Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Confident communicator with strong interpersonal abilities Experience in budget management and cost control
