JUNIOR INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT

(Full-time position - Remote working)



QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:



Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Hurman Resources, Industrial Relations, Labour Relations, or Labour Law. Minimum 2-years' proven experience in industrial and labour relations, including dispute resolution processes at Bargaining Council and/or CCMA level, administration functions, financial management, and business development. Proven track record of initiating and chairing of disciplinary hearings and recruiting of new business opportunities. Computer Literate in Microsoft Office Suite, Artificial Intelligence, and Virtual/Digital engagement platforms. Effective communication skills both written and verbal. Professional, well-groomed, and confident. Willing and able to travel locally and nationally and has a valid driver's licence and reliable personal motor vehicle. Ability to work remotely, independently, under pressure, multi-task, and meet targets and deadlines. No criminal convictions. Have a fully functional remote workstation (including office furniture), stable and reliable internet connection, and electricity backup system. Available as of

February 2026.

Must reside in

Richards Bay.


ADVANTAGES:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:



Carry out administrative, secretarial, and accounting functions for the division Recruit new members for the Organisation (Business Development). Assist and ensure members are compliant in terms of the industry's Main Collective Agreement, South African Employment and Labour Legislation and the Constitution of the Organisation. Provide members with sound Industrial and Labour relations support, including representing members at the Bargaining Council/CCMA in dispute resolution. Initiate and represent members in internal disciplinary hearings and or consultations, and chair disciplinary hearings. Build and manage professional relationships with employers, suppliers, and industry role players. Maintain and provide accurate and complete records and reports. Develop, manage and present projects & events associated with the Organisation. Professional interaction and liaison with Bargaining Council agents and Trade Union representatives. Handling and resolving of queries from, and on behalf of members. Weekly planning and attending to scheduled appointments and meetings. Plan and host events focused on the core and elective services of the Organisation.

REMUNERATION:



Monthly Basic Salary - R12 350.00 Monthly Mobile Data Allowance - R99.00 Monthly Internet Allowance - R371.00 Employer SDL Contribution - 1% of monthly salary bill Employer UIF Contribution - 1% of Employee monthly gross earnings Monthly Travel Cost Subsidy - To be discussed in interview 13th Cheque & Incentive Scheme - To be discussed in interview Business Development Commission - To be discussed in interview

The Employers' Organisation for Hairdressing, Cosmetology and Beauty (EOHCB) is a constituted registered Employers' Organisation as per the Labour Relations Act, 66 of 1995 and have been representing its members since 1947.

The EOHCB is an organisation that promotes the interest of its members by protecting and supporting the needs of employers through Collective Bargaining and Labour Relations assistance and development.

The EOHCB is the only employers' organisation within South Africa who is a party to the National Bargaining Council for Hairdressing, Cosmetology, Beauty, and Skincare Industry and who engages in collective bargaining on behalf of its members - the employers and legal owners of the industry.

We continuously strive to provide our members with a full range of services and benefits and endeavour to address the needs of our members with integrity, professionalism, and sound business practice.

The organisation represents employers on a regular basis at Bargaining Council and CCMA level, for dispute resolution through conciliation and arbitration. The EOHCB also engages in collective bargaining where conditions of employment and salaries are negotiated on behalf of employers through meaningful consultation for the industry.
