Job Description


We are looking for a motivated and proactive Junior HR & Recruitment Officer to join our vibrant team. The Junior HR & Recruitment Officer will be responsible for supporting various HR functions, with their initial main focus being recruitment. The successful candidate will work closely with the HR team and hiring managers to find the best candidates for our organization.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment * Provide support in creating job descriptions and publishing vacancies on relevant job boards and platforms (Careers24, Ditto, PNet, Indeed & LinkedIn).

  • Working with the Design Team to create aesthetically pleasing job adverts.
  • Arrange interviews and communicate with candidates during the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure a smooth recruitment process.
  • Conducting telephonic, virtual and face-to-face interviews with shortlisted candidates and the respective hiring managers.
  • Conducting background and reference checks.
  • Providing daily, weekly & monthly recruitment stats to the Recruitment Manager.
HR Administration * Support new employees during onboarding, which involves preparing required paperwork and leading induction sessions.
  • Ensuring employee records and databases are up to date.
  • Assist in the preparation of HR Related reports and documentation.
  • Updating leave internal databases.
  • Assisting the Finance Department with payroll by providing the relevant employee information.
  • Help address employee relations matters promptly and professionally
Requirements: * Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Fluent in Afrikaans & English (Essential)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Prior experience in HR or recruitment is preferred but not required.
  • Valid Driverxe2x80x99s license & Vehicle.

Location:

Primary: Weltevreden Park, Roodepoort, JHB

Secondary: Samrand, Centurion, PTA (1-2 days per week)

Kindly be aware that this position requires you to commute.

Remuneration:
  • R12 500 per month (to be reviewed, after successful probationary period);
  • Monthly monetary incentives;
