JuniorGraphic Designer

is a dynamic and exciting opportunity for a creative professional to bring fresh ideas to life through compelling visual content across various platforms. The successful candidate will need to produce high-quality visual assets for digital and print, maintain consistency in branding, and support the marketing team in design and administration related and tasks.

The Graphic Designer will possess a positive attitude and demonstrate strong attention to detail, creativity, up-to-date knowledge of industry software, and a professional approach to feedback, time, costs, and deadlines.

The head office is based in Somerset West and there are no possibilities of working remotely.

Duties:

Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute creative campaigns. Conceptualizes assignments by designing rough layouts of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts as per specified media requirements. Adjusts designs and copies according to direction provided by stakeholders. Gathers information and materials needed from designated individuals to accomplish tasks. Create engaging graphics for digital campaigns, websites, newsletters, social media, print media, product packaging, and in-store materials. Design promotional material for in-store events, give-aways, trade shows and other marketing campaigns. Work with the web team to ensure graphics are optimized for web and mobile platforms. Edit product images and assist with photo manipulation where necessary. Maintain brand consistency across all platforms and materials, in accordance with established brand guidelines. Manage multiple design projects with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Accurately estimates the time required to complete work and works successfully within time and cost constraints. Administration duties: Supporting the marketing team with tasks that help with organization, project management, and communication. These duties may include managing design files, maintaining databases, preparing presentations, obtaining quotes, assisting with the coordination of projects, scheduling, meeting preparation, and communication with vendors.

Requirements:

Formal Graphic Design Qualification Minimum of 2 years' experience in a graphic design role. A strong portfolio showcasing both digital and print work. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.). Strong understanding of layout, colour, typography, and branding. Excellent communication skills and ability to interpret creative briefs. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Bonus:

Experience with basic video editing or motion graphics. Experience working with e-commerce or product-based brands. Photography skills.
