Description

This position is responsible for all graphic design related projects.

Responsibilities

• Work independently or with other graphic designers on a variety of projects
• Develop and design various new product packaging, labelling and bottling
• Design adverts for various marketing channels
• Design general marketing material
• Design for digital format xe2x80x93 social media content, websites and mobile sites
• Maintain and archive the brands marketing material safely and securely
• Staying up to date with market trends, brand trends and design trends
• Research and understand human buying behaviour and how it relates to design
• Form part of the creative team, come up with creative solutions, guide and assist other designers and marketing members when needed

Health and Safety

• Participate in safety forums created by Soill for example safety meetings and safety talks
• Follow-up on any activities assigned through safety meetings / committees / representatives / management
• Report all safety incidents to the relevant people
• Attend safety education and refresher programmes
• Comply with safety policies and procedures at Soill
• Distribute safety information as and when required
• Wear protective clothing (where applicable) at all times

Requirements

Minimum Qualification and Experience

• Diploma or Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design or Visual Communications
• Previous experience and proven competence in Adobe Creative Suite essential
• At least 3 yearsxe2x80x99 relevant working experience
• Experience with WordPress, HTML, CSS would be a distinct advantage
• Experience in Film Production would be a distinct advantage
