MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To assist with ensuring that financial business processes are performed efficiently using IT systems optimally, and to ensure that financial risks are mitigated

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Assist with relevant business analysis
• Assist with implementation of departmental projects
• Assist with the design, improvement and maintenance of financial business processes
• Review integration and group journals
• Assist with the management of finance master data and SAP user access

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION

• B ComAccounting degree

DESIRED EDUCATION

• B Com Postgraduate degree

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

• 5 years experience in finance department within a Private Healthcare environment
• Understanding integration between SAP FI, CO, MM and Patient Administration System

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

• Understanding integration between SAP FI, CO, MM, PM, Pharmacy,HR and PS modules
• Patient administration system

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel)
• Knowledge and use of MDA (Property Rental Software Package)
• Knowledge and use of Patient Administration system
• Knowledge and use of Pharmacy systems
• Knowledge and use of SAP FI and CO
• Knowledge of relevant statutory legislation (including but not limited to VAT - value added Tax, Company Law etc.)
• Understanding and application of Project Management principles and processes
• Understanding of Human Resources and MHRM (Medical Human Resource Management) processes and procedures (including Gallup)
• Understanding of Master Data and transactional database
• Understanding the integration between SAP MM, PM and PS modules
