Junior Financial Controller - Cape Town
Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and perform bank reconciliations.
Reconciliations: Perform reconciliations of payment gateways and supplier accounts to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
Journals & Closing: Prepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Reconcile customer and partner accounts to maintain financial accuracy and stakeholder trust.
Payroll: Assist with monthly payroll processing and reconciliations.
Audit Support: Prepare working papers and documentation to support the annual audit process.
Tax: Complete all relevant tax returns on SARS eFiling for review, including income tax, dividends tax, provisional tax, VAT201s, and EMP201s.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Completed SAIPA / CIMA articles or 3 years of experience in a financial role, preferably in accounting or financial reporting
Proficient in MS Excel and financial software (experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or similar preferred)
Experience in QuickBooks Online and PaySpace would be advantageous
