Working Hours:

Mondays - Fridays, 8am-5pm Central European Time (CET)


We're looking for a detail?oriented, systems?minded finance professional early in their career who enjoys finding discrepancies, improving processes, and protecting company profitability. This person is naturally curious, disciplined with data, and comfortable working behind the scenes while reporting directly to Operations and the CEO, requiring a high level of trust, clarity, and professionalism.


They don't need deep accounting mastery - but they must be highly trustworthy, analytical, and eager to learn Growmodo's unique internal finance workflows, while bringing a proactive cost?cutting mindset to optimize resources and safeguard sustainable growth.

You're an early?career finance professional with a sharp eye for detail and a systems?driven mindset. You enjoy digging into numbers to spot discrepancies, streamline processes, and uncover opportunities to cut costs without compromising quality. Data discipline comes naturally to you, and you thrive working behind the scenes to keep operations running smoothly. Curiosity drives you to ask the right questions, while your analytical skills and eagerness to learn help you adapt quickly to new workflows. You're highly trustworthy, professional, and clear in your communication - ready to work closely with Operations and the CEO in a high?ownership, high?trust environment.

What You'll Own (Key Responsibilities)

Audit and monitor Hubstaff time tracking for accuracy and suspicious behavior Review and support payroll processing Manage Stripe billing activities, including: Cancellations, Upgrades and Downgrades Billing discrepancies and anomalies Track, audit, and optimize company subscriptions and SaaS tools to identify underused licenses, redundancies, and unnecessary costs Document finance processes and controls, prepare reports, and provide actionable insights to Operations and the CEO for cost optimization and decision-making Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies

What We're Looking For

You Must Have:

A Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, or Business Administration/Management, Finance/Financial Management, or other business programs of equivalence (Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply) Have at least 1-3 years of experience in finance operations, accounting support, payroll, or finance QA-related roles (for those with prior working experience) Comfortable working with spreadsheets, dashboards, and data reconciliation Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors or inconsistencies High integrity and trustworthiness, as you'll handle sensitive financial information Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn new systems and processes Very good English communication skills to clearly report findings to Operations and the CEO Confidence in conversing with executives Ability to follow structured workflows and maintain organized documentation Comfortable working in a fast-growing, remote, and high-trust environment Your own working equipment and devices A stable internet connection at home

Bonus Points If You:

Experience with Hubstaff or other time-tracking tools Familiarity with Stripe or other SaaS billing platforms Experience managing subscriptions, licenses, or recurring costs Knowledge of basic accounting principles or finance audits Interest in process improvement, cost optimization, or operational efficiency
