Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conceptual Design & Development

• Lead the development of mechanical systems and components, from concept to final production.
• Ensure designs are innovative, cost-effective, and meet client specifications.
• Advanced CAD Modelling

• Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to internal CAD and design standards.
• Prototype Development & Testing

• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to develop and test prototypes.
• Analyze test data and iterate designs for improved performance.
• Design Validation & Analysis

• Perform FEA and other analytical techniques to validate designs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Project Management Support

• Assist in project planning, risk analysis, and resource coordination.
• Track progress against milestones and support reporting to stakeholders.
• Cost Estimation & Budget Input

• Provide input into cost estimates and budgets for components, systems, and projects.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through smart design choices.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work across departments to ensure seamless execution from design to delivery.
• Innovation & Technology Scouting

• Stay abreast of new technologies relevant to mechanical engineering.
• Propose technical innovations and design improvements.
• Technical Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare and maintain accurate engineering documentation.
• Support design reviews, customer presentations, and audits.

• Ensure compliance with internal standards and industry regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
