Job Summary DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The duties and responsibilities of the incumbent will include and not be limited to the following: 1. Design new products and revise current products 2. BOM updates and corrections 3. Fitment instructions 4. Assembly instructions 5. Costings 6. Technical reports 7. Customer technical queries (Wiring & plumbing diagrams, etc.) 8. Prototype testing and manufacturing 9. Product design reviews (from outsourced products) 10. Factory support (jigs, factory layout drawings, etc.) 11. Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes 12. Study production and machine requirements 13. Design and install process equipment 14. Optimise process efficiency, quality and cost effectiveness 15. Resolve issues and delays in production 16. Train staff in new processes 17. Upgrade systems and processes with new technology 18. Initiate and drive company-wide Continuous Improvement Experience and Qualifications: xe2x80xa2 Proficient in both SolidWorks and Solid Edge xe2x80xa2 5yrs + experience in 3D modelling xe2x80xa2 National Diploma: Mechanical Engineering or BTech: Mechanical Engineering (Specifically looking for a technically qualified individual.) Required Skills/Abilities: xe2x97x8f Time Management xe2x97x8f Problem-Solving xe2x97x8f Excellent Communication skills xe2x97x8f Stocktaking xe2x97x8f Deadline driven. xe2x97x8f Attention to detail. xe2x97x8f Computer literacy
