About the Role

We are hiring

two Digital Marketing Assistants

to support the delivery of services across SEO, Google Ads, websites, email marketing, and social media.

This is a

junior / entry-level role with a clear growth path

. We are willing to train and mentor the right candidate, but this role is

not suitable for complete beginners

. Applicants must already have

foundational digital marketing knowledge or experience

.

Key Responsibilities (First 90 Days)

You will support work across active retainer clients and website projects, including:

Google Ads setup support and optimisation Keyword research (SEO and paid media) Writing and adapting ad copy On-page SEO updates Blog formatting and publishing KPI reporting (GA4, Looker Studio, spreadsheets) Website updates using WordPress (Divi / Elementor) Social media scheduling Drafting content for emails, social media, and websites Designing basic social and email graphics (Canva / Lovable) Following delivery workflows using Monday.com
Client communication may be introduced gradually as experience and confidence grow.

Required Knowledge & Experience (Non-Negotiable)

Applicants must already have

entry-level knowledge or practical exposure

to most of the following:

SEO fundamentals and keyword research Google Ads basics WordPress websites Divi and/or Elementor GA4 and basic reporting Email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, MailerLite) Social media platforms (Meta Business Suite) Canva or similar design tools Practical use of AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT)
Familiarity with tools such as

SEMrush, Ahrefs, Wix, Lovable

, or similar platforms is advantageous.

You do not need to be an expert, but you must understand how these tools are used in real client environments.

Who This Role Is For

Has hands-on entry-level industry experience Takes initiative and ownership Cares about quality, accuracy, and client outcomes Wants to grow into a specialist or account management role
We are not looking for someone who delivers only the bare minimum.

Work Setup & Hours

Fully remote (for now) Own device and reliable internet required Working hours: Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00 (SAST) 1-hour daily break Full-time commitment required (no other jobs during working hours)
Occasional in-office work may be required in the future (Stellenbosch / Somerset West area).

Contract & Compensation

Full-time role Contract structure: 3-week probation period 3-month contract Permanent employment thereafter Salary:

R8,500 per month

Future commission opportunities per account managed UIF and tax contributions are not included initially and must be managed independently
