Junior Demand Planner

(Planning Graduate) to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for a graduate or early-career professional eager to build a career in demand and supply planning.

Key Responsibilities

Demand & Supply Planning

Forecast customer demand using sales data, market trends, and historical patterns. Align production and procurement plans with demand forecasts. Monitor stock levels and adjust plans to prevent shortages or overstocking.

Production & Resource Scheduling

Develop and maintain production schedules. Coordinate with operations, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability. Optimize allocation of resources (manpower, equipment, and materials).

Data Analysis & Reporting

Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to sales, supply chain performance, and inventory. Prepare planning and performance reports for management. Highlight risks, bottlenecks, and deviations from the plan.

Cross-functional Coordination

Collaborate with sales, operations, procurement, and logistics to ensure achievable plans. Act as a link between commercial and operational teams. Support management in decision-making with accurate planning insights.

Process Optimization

Identify inefficiencies in planning and scheduling processes. Recommend improvements to enhance accuracy, reduce costs, and improve efficiency. Apply best practices in demand forecasting and resource planning.

Risk & Contingency Planning

Anticipate potential supply or production disruptions. Develop contingency strategies to minimize impact on operations.

Systems & Tools Management

Use planning tools (Excel Workbooks, Microsoft Suite, and other planning software). Maintain accurate records in planning databases. Ensure data integrity and timely updates.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in

Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Business Management, or related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related planning tools.
