Introduction Our client, a beverage manufacturer is seeking a Junior Credit Controller to join their dynamic team. Familiarity with accounting software, particularly Syspro/Pastel, is essential. • Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Contact clients for overdue payments and facilitate debt collection processes.
• Investigate and resolve claims related to accounts.
• Process credit notes and maintain accurate journals.
• Familiarity with Syspro/Pastel Accounting packages is advantageous.
• Handle the processing of credit applications and the opening of new accounts.
• Ensure the integrity of current accounts is maintained.
• Communicate relevant information to representatives regarding accounts.
• Capture and allocate payments accurately.
• Reconcile Key Accounts for FMCG clients such as Dischem, PNP, etc.
• Process rebates, discounts, and advertising-related financial transactions.
• Send out statements to clients.

• Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Familiarity with accounting software, especially Syspro/Pastel.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
