My client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Junior Contracts Engineer. Requirements:

• NDip or BTech in Mechanical Engineering. Chemical Engineering qualification will be considered.
• 1-year engineering experience.
• Willing to frequently travel internationally.
• Positive, high-energy individual.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Contracts Manager and/or Contract Engineer to meet the Contract objectives including planning, monitoring, and controlling all aspects of the Contract.
• Review of Customer specifications and ensure design is carried out in accordance with the Contract.
• Ensure equipment/plant basic and detail engineering are issued in accordance with the Technical Specification and Contract Management Plan.
• Administration and control all commercial aspects of the Contract including the contract budget, variations, invoicing and the control of Suppliers.
• Identify and procure all necessary material and equipment in accordance with the procurement plan.
• Manage ITP/QCP related issues with the Customer.
• Assure compliance with all safety and quality related issues.
• Liaise during manufacturing and/or construction process with Customer & Suppliers.
• Review modifications to mechanical drawings for as-built documentation.
• Arrange the testing/inspections with Customer and compile all necessary quality documentation after acceptance by Customer, including closing of the Contract.
• Complete equipment checks lists, punch lists, completion certificates and commissioning of the companyxe2x80x99s equipment/plant at Customer sites.
• Co-ordinate and plan commissioning functions with the Site Supervisors and Process Engineers.
