Requirements



Grade 12 Code B driver's licence (manual transmission) Must be registered as Traffic Officer OR be in possession of a

National Department of Transport Basic



Traffic Officer qualification (RTMC)



Must be qualified as a Municipal Police member (Municipal Police

Basic Qualification)



Must meet all requirements applicable to be appointed as a

Municipal Police member as contained in



Regulation 11 of the Regulations for Municipal Police Services



Computer literacy Must be physically fit Applicants must have no criminal record, no pending criminal cases

or charges, and no involvement in



any conduct that may compromise their integrity, suitability, or



ability to perform the duties of the position.



Any criminal conviction, pending matter, or other circumstance that



could negatively affect the reputation



of the City of Cape Town or the applicant's capacity to discharge



their responsibilities effectively will



render the applicant ineligible for appointment.
