Our client who operates within the international oil and gas industry is looking for a Junior Computer Engineer to join their dynamic team. This position is fully remote.Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and implement software solutions.
- Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Assist in project planning, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues, proposing and implementing effective solutions.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to the field.
- Support of Software Systems and project implementation.Requirements:- Bachelors degree in computer engineering, University of Pretoria
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Solid understanding of programming languages such as C#, Javascript.
- Familiarity with MS SQL Server and proficiency in SQL (T-SQL) query language would be beneficial.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices.
- Basic knowledge of hardware systems and computer architecture.
