Junior Chef | Mpumalanga | 4 Star Bush Retreat
We are currently seeking a JUNIOR CHEF to join the culinary team of this award-winning 4-star bush retreat in the heart of Mpumalanga, situated within its own private nature reserve.
As a Junior Chef, you'll have the chance to work alongside experienced professionals, hone your skills, and contribute to creating memorable dining experiences.
As ideal candidate you will have:
- Matric
- Certificate/diploma in culinary arts
- At least 2 years previous experience from 4/5 Star establishment
- Passion and desire to learn and grow
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Creativity and attention to details
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of the Head Chef
- Ensure high-quality presentation of dishes
- Follow recipes and adhere to food safety standards
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a smooth workflow
- Basic salary will be discussed with shortlisted candidates
- Live In position
