Job Title: Product Specialist, Cardiothoracic Division
Location: Cape Town
Experience: Minimum 3 years of medical sales experience, preferably in cardiac or related field
Qualifications: Qualified Perfusionist or Cardiac scrub nurse or Cardiac ICU Nurse preferred
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in the cardiothoracic field
- Provide product education and training to healthcare professionals, including surgeons, nurses, and support staff
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement strategic plans for the cardiothoracic division
- Attend conferences, trade shows, and other industry events to promote products and gather market intelligence
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth
- Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and industry regulations
- Provide input on product development and marketing strategies based on customer feedback and market research
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Analytical and strategic thinking
- Knowledge of the cardiac and cardiothoracic field
- Familiarity with medical sales processes and regulations
