Job Purpose
Our Westmead branch requires a Junior buyer who will ensure we achieve our KPIs, support sales to deliver great service to our customers and build strong internal and external relationships.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Source all buyout items Adhere to Procurement KPI's Prevent, identify and resolve stock shortages, and availability issues Keep up to date with market trends and react swiftly to changes in demand Ensure consistent cross function communication between key stakeholders Manage supplier relationships Place and manage outgoing POs Understand our supplier capabilities, capacities and priorities and put in place contingency plans where necessary Negotiation of pricing, rebates, and payment terms Maintenance of purchasing contracts & agreements Provide support to dispatch stores Manage logistics
Requirements
Relevant qualification in Supply chain/ Logistics/ Purchasing Experience with imports, exports and exchange rates Planning and organisational skills Communication skills Ability to work independently Attention to detail Negotiation skills Team player

Pay: R7000,00 per month
