Junior Buyer
Job Description
Successful candidate will have a completed Matric / Grade 12, coupled with 3 years experience as a Junior Buyer, preferably within the Engineering / Manufacturing / Retail / Production or Supply Chain sector.
KPI's include:
Study markets and trends; be responsible for handling stock and ensuring that the branches are correctly and timeously stocked at all times; follow-up on lead times; sourcing and negotiation of prices with suppliers; supplier negotiations and communication (both locally and internationally); ensure timely delivery of products and materials to support the company's operations. Previous sales / purchasing experience highly advantageous. Solid Excel skills and MSDynamics experience highly advantageous.
