Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Purchase Orders & Data Capture: Prepare, review, and issue purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring all data is captured in the company's system.
• Supplier Liaison: Communicate effectively with suppliers to obtain quotes, confirm order details, and establish timelines.
• Quote Management: Obtain and compare quotes from various suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and maintain a high-quality supply base.
• Backorder Management: Follow up on outstanding orders, monitor delivery timelines, and resolve any issues to minimize production delays.
• Credit Applications & Supplier Documentation: Complete credit applications and maintain up-to-date records of supplier agreements, contracts, and credit terms.
• Supply Chain Support: Assist in managing supply chain logistics, including coordinating imports and exports and ensuring compliance with shipping regulations and documentation requirements.
• Inventory Monitoring: Support stock monitoring processes to ensure an uninterrupted supply of critical components and materials for production.
• Administrative Support: Maintain organized records of all procurement transactions and assist with general administrative duties within the procurement department.

Qualifications/Skills

• Education: Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in manufacturing or a similar industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with ERP or procurement software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. (French will be a bonus)
• Basic understanding of import/export procedures and supply chain logistics.
