Junior Business Development Manager (must Have Legal Background)

Job Description
A Pretoria East based law organisation is looking for a highly motivated individual to drive funding/sponsorships and awareness in the industry. This is a twelve-month contract with the view to extend the contract based on the individual's key performance output (KPI) deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Fundraising - Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Market the organisation to potential donors and the industry.
- Optimise and market online presence & attend to webinars and roadshows.
- Travel to other provinces for fundraising and marketing purposes.
- Facilitate awareness of the brand in the industry.
- Continuous assessment of the marketing needs of the organisation.
- Strategic planning on business development.
- Ad hoc duties (when needed).
- Report to the board on a regular basis on fundraising & potential new business opportunities.
Law graduate or background (non-negotiable).
Must reside in the Pretoria or surrounding area.
Proven business development & marketing experience. At least two years experience in a similar position.
Good verbal and written skills.
Ability to travel within the borders of South Africa for fundraising and marketing purposes.
