The responsibilities of the position include the following:

• Inventory Management - you will be expected to execute demand planning initiatives in order to ensure optimum stock levels at all times wherever possible.
• Preparation of orders on international suppliers, working closely with shipping department
• Marketing - you will be expected to plan and execute an annual advertising and promotional plan per brand by budget with the expectations of growing market share.
• Develop a digital strategy and content with 3rd party agencies aligned to the overall brand strategy.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the respective brands in terms of channel to market and competitor analysis to understand brand positioning, the value proposition and implement and maintain pricing strategy.
• Relationship management with brand principals, suppliers, internal staff and key customers
• Event management and participation.
• Ability to think and act commercially, making economically viable decisions around the portfolio.
• Completion of monthly, quarterly and annual reports for both internal and principal requirements.
• Report preparation & analysis specific to stock movement.

To be considered for the position, you should meet the following essential criteria:

• A minimum of a marketing degree/ IMM diploma or equivalent qualification.
• A postgraduate diploma/ honours degree will be preferable.
• At least five years experience in a similar position.
• A good understanding of all digital platforms, including e-comm and the relevant performance metricsAn understanding of forecasting and inventory management.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Entrepreneurial thinker driving brand leadership.
• Computer literacy in the Microsoft Office Suite with above average Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Excellent Communication skills in English.
• Able to travel.
• The ability to work according to strict deadlines and budgets on a continuous basis.
• Engaging personality, enthusiastic and professional in appearance.
• Drivers license and own vehicle.
