Accurately recording day-to-day financial transactions, including invoices, expenses, receipts, and payments, into the accounting system or general ledger.
Reconciliation:
Assisting with reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and supplier accounts to ensure all records match and discrepancies are resolved.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Processing and verifying supplier invoices, preparing payments to vendors, monitoring customer accounts, sending invoices, and following up on outstanding payments.
Payroll Support:
Assisting with payroll processing, including tracking timesheets, calculating wages and deductions, and ensuring timely submissions and compliance with tax laws.
Reporting Assistance:
Generating basic financial reports, such as income statements and balance sheets, under the guidance of a senior team member.
Audit Support:
Maintaining organized and up-to-date financial records and providing necessary documentation and explanations to internal and external auditors.
Administrative Tasks:
Performing general administrative and clerical duties within the finance department
